Calm Down Trilogy
Nearly 2 years ago I wrote a track called “Calm Down” with total joke recordings of my friend Udachi and myself talking nonsense. We put it on our Trouble & Bass Scion compilation and it ended up being really popular so I decided to make a follow up called Calm Down Part 2. The demand for its release was to high to ignore so I figured why not make it a trilogy and do Part 3. I asked Drop the Lime to do some vocals for it and flip Part 3 into a more epic mellow track, an outro I guess, and he killed it. To round it out I did a club edit and asked DJ Craze to use his world class DMC skills to cut up the ridiculous vocals and send them back to put in the edit…and he also killed it.
At that point I had this silly concept EP of music that a good amount of people wanted, with 2 very talented friends on 2 of the tracks, but I still wanted it to be more epic so I made it a double vinyl release with one side of each of the discs being a Serato control tone! To add to all of this nonsense I asked amazingly talented designer, Fools Gold co-founder, and my Brooklyn neighbor Dust La Rock to design all of the artwork. The result is this gatefold vinyl Calm Down Trilogy EP which is now on presale at the T&B website. We only pressed 500 copies so it is very limited. Inside one of the sleeves you will find a certificate hand numbered and signed by myself and Dust La Rock.

Huge thanks to the crew at Serato and my brothers Dust, Drop the Lime & Craze for making this such a cool package.
