Right Now

During the first half of 2010 I was working on a new side project that ended up becoming a bit of an obsession. I teamed up with Atlanta based rapper Dell “o8o” Harris who used to be in the group T-Katz, with me making the music and he providing the voice and lyrics. Over 6 months between my DJ touring we ended up writing a whole album’s worth of material under the name AC & Dell. 

Rather than trying to find a label and clear samples we decided to just give the album away to get the music out there as fast as we could. Brooklyn clothing company Mishka offered to press some CDs and give them away with their orders. So with that brief description here is the full album for download.

We’ve got some good features on there from Telli of Ninjasonik, Drop the Lime, Megan Thomas, White Light Syndrome, Nick Hook and Tiombe Lockhart of Cubic Zirconia, and B-Rock of Dacav5.

We shot a music video for the opening track, that will be out soon. We’re already in the studio working on new material and a mixtape for Trouble & Bass.
